Building on Blessings: A Journey of Faith and Generosity at The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew
Maintenance, Debt Reduction, & Missions Capital Campaign
We are honored to have been part of an inspiring journey with The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew, a community that has faithfully served Christ and its growing ministries for decades. From 2008 to 2014, this congregation embarked on a monumental project to relocate, build, and establish a new church home. The vision was clear: to create a space where people could gather, worship, and deepen their faith in a growing and thriving community.
Fast forward ten years to the church’s 75th Anniversary, and the mission continues to move forward with renewed energy and purpose. In this season of growth and celebration, The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew launched the Building on Blessings capital campaign. This campaign was designed to address both immediate needs and long-term goals, ensuring that the church can continue to serve its members and expand its outreach into the future.
What followed was nothing short of extraordinary. The church community responded with incredible generosity, surpassing the Challenge Goal set for the campaign. It’s a testament to the spirit of stewardship that flows through this congregation—a commitment to not only maintaining the physical space but also to deepening the ministry and mission of the church.
The funds raised will be used for a variety of important maintenance, debt reduction, and missions. These include significant interior and exterior improvements to the church building, as well as much-needed energy-efficiency upgrades to reduce costs and environmental impacts. The campaign will also help reduce existing debt and allow for expanded funding for the church’s mission work—aligning perfectly with the call to be good stewards of all God’s blessings.This is what true generosity looks like: a community coming together to invest in the present and future of their ministry, ensuring that the church can continue to grow, reach new people, and deepen its impact for years to come.
As we look ahead to the next chapter of this church’s journey, it is clear that the seeds of faith, hope, and love sown through this campaign will continue to bear fruit. I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful community, and I look forward to all the blessings that the future holds.
