Campaign Purpose

First Presbyterian Church’s awe-inspiring building and campus have served the Delray Beach community since 1925. Their stewardship of these facilities over the years provided a firm foundation for that service. To continue that strong heritage of care, they were called to address some significant facility maintenance and repair challenges.

Renovation & Maintenance

Across their campus, First Presbyterian’s buildings required a variety of needed maintenance, repairs, and updates. Their leadership knew that well-functioning, comfortable, and beautiful spaces was an important foundation for everyone who came to pray, work, learn, and celebrate at First Presbyterian.

Walsh & Associates was first brought in to conduct a feasibility & planning study as an important first step toward a successful campaign. Using the information gathered in the study, First Presbyterian developed a solid plan to address their building maintenance and improvement needs. These included pest control, roof repairs, new HVAC, and other exterior and parking lot work. Interior plans include repairs, replacements, and improvements to walls and flooring, organ, stained glass and hurricane windows, kitchen, elevator, and restrooms.

Their Renew & Rejoice campaign focused the community on the need to keep their facilities in good repair now and into the future. The campaign process clearly communicated the call to be good stewards of the gifts God had so graciously bestowed.

Campaign Success

First Presbyterians faith-community generously responded, understanding the needs. The campaign exceeded its goal!
