Campaign Purpose
Wellesley Hills Congregational Church has a long and faithful history of living out Christ’s call through worship, service, and community outreach. Building on generations of stewardship, church leadership launched the Generation to Generation capital campaign to revitalize critical facilities and strengthen the church’s ability to support vibrant ministry. With a clear vision for both immediate needs and future impact, Walsh partnered with them through this journey focused on renewing their Parish House and enhancing their capacity to welcome, serve, and grow as a community of faith.
Renovation & Expansion
At the heart of the campaign was the comprehensive renovation of their Parish House. They planned major upgrades to heating and cooling systems, new ceilings and lighting, installation of a full fire protection system, and significant office and meeting space improvements. Their kitchen would also be renovated to better serve ministries, volunteers, and community groups.
Maintenance
If sufficient funds were raised, infrastructure upgrades and replacements would be addressed across campus. Heating systems would be upgraded and improved, and fire protection installed across the campus to resolve long-standing maintenance concerns and create more comfortable and reliable worship, fellowship, and ministry environments.
Campaign Success
The Generation to Generation capital campaign inspired an extraordinary outpouring of faith and generosity. The congregation came together with remarkable unity and purpose, ultimately surpassing even their stretch goal. This incredible achievement, representing 6.49 times the church’s annual giving, stands as a powerful testament to the deep commitment and generous spirit of the church community. Through this shared effort, the congregation has faithfully positioned itself to continue Christ’s work, ensuring that its ministry will thrive for generations to come.
