As a result of the generous support of St. Anne’s parishioners, two previous capital campaigns, and a loan from the Diocese of Oakland, God has blessed the church with a spacious and impressive Community Life Center and a beautifully restored chapel. The Community Life Center Hall is used for weekend masses, faith formation, blood drives, Vacation Bible School and a Red Cross Disaster Center. With the added commercial kitchen, many weddings, quinceañeras, and other social events are hosted there. Their Fireside Room is used for funeral receptions, RCIA meetings and counseling sessions. And three other meeting rooms are used for Guadalupana, Knights of Columbus, AA, and Women’s Fellowship. The entire congregation has benefited from this wonderful center.
In addition, the parish’s chapel, otherwise known as “The Little Church,” was relocated to make room for the detention basin. It also was restored to make the facility handicap accessible, and to enhance its beauty for weekday masses and small weddings and funerals. Outside, necessary parking, road and land infrastructure was developed in preparation for any future buildings that may be needed to address parish growth.
However, as St. Anne’s continue to benefit from their new facilities and strived to be good and faithful stewards, they faced some significant challenges. Their debt, including two diocesan loans, was costing them over $30,000 a month. This payment hampered the parish because those funds were not available to serve the community through services and ministry. The debt needed to be addressed.
In partnership with Walsh & Associates, St. Anne’s embarked on their Worship, Connect, Grow & Serve – Building The Next 100 Years campaign. The funds raised were to be used to reduce their debt and support the Diocese of Oakland’s capital campaign.
“Having worked with another consulting firm on our previous campaign I was able to compare them side by side. The preparedness, professionalism and follow through of Walsh & Associates far exceeded anything I experienced with the other firm. I would highly recommend them to other churches.”

Helping Churches Reach New Heights in their Capital Campaigns
Our mission is to be great stewards, to live up to the Parable of Talents and to bring out the best in those we serve. Our consistent and proven-to-be-successful approach to directing church capital campaigns helps assure this. We just work with churches, only do capital campaigns and ground them in prayer, scripture and sound stewardship teachings. Then we combine this with practical, proven-to-be-most-productive operating methods. This not only assures you of getting the best results and best return on your capital campaign investment financially, but also, that your church will grow spiritually and in community and will be more equipped and excited than ever about doing God’s will through the works of your church.
