St. Gabriel Catholic Church
Campaign Purpose
St. Gabriel’s is an active community of over 600 households with a school of over 150 students. Their original school building was built in 1926 and was in disrepair and barely used. It was estimated to cost over $9 million just to bring it up to current codes, yet those improvements would still fall short of their needs. Earlier parishioners had built a new one story school that was meeting the schools needs, except it lacked an adequate gymnasium and cafeteria.
Building A New School Gym & Cafeteria
Walsh & Associates worked with church leadership on a Feasibility & Planning Study to develop a phased plan to address their needs. The parish embarked on their Building Our Beacon of Hope capital campaign to provide the seed money. Generous members exceeded their goal and Phase I enabled them to expand their campus with a new cafeteria and gym.
