St John the Baptist Catholic Church
Campaign Purpose
Since their historic church was torn down, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church has been celebrating Mass in their school gymnasium. Under the guidance of Walsh & Associates, the members undertook their Building the Master’s Plan capital campaign to build a new church. Built on the same property and oriented the same as the old church, the new St. John the Baptist will again be a landmark to the Tipton community. The new church will be an integration of the old and the new. Designed in the Gothic style of the old church, many of their historic furnishings and their beautiful stained-glass windows will be accommodated in the new building. Yet, it will be built to the latest liturgical and accessibility standards with the most up-to-date building technologies.
Members offered an enthusiastic and overwhelmingly generous response to the plans. St. John the Baptist’s campaign not only exceeded its goal, but raised over ten times annual giving!
Testimonials
“We are so thrilled with the results of this campaign, including all of the help and direction provided by Walsh & Associates. Our consultant did a great job preparing us along with all our volunteers for a successful campaign. We were impressed with the thoroughness of all the materials provided to our parish, the orientation manuals for volunteers, the campaign proposal, the campaign messenger showing updates and more. Our director was so good at presenting and explaining materials and his enthusiasm was contagious.
We liked how the Walsh campaign stressed the importance of prayer and the cooperation of parishioners in the volunteer roles. Our campaign saw financial success, where we exceeded our initial goal, but another benefit was the coming together of parishioners. We met some parishioners we did not know, and became better friends with those we did, all working toward a common goal. I truly believe Walsh & Associates was the right consulting firm to help our parish, and I would highly recommend them to others.”

Helping Churches Reach New Heights in their Capital Campaigns
Our mission is to be great stewards, to live up to the Parable of Talents and to bring out the best in those we serve. Our consistent and proven-to-be-successful approach to directing church capital campaigns helps assure this. We just work with churches, only do capital campaigns and ground them in prayer, scripture and sound stewardship teachings. Then we combine this with practical, proven-to-be-most-productive operating methods. This not only assures you of getting the best results and best return on your capital campaign investment financially, but also, that your church will grow spiritually and in community and will be more equipped and excited than ever about doing God’s will through the works of your church.
