St Stephens Lutheran Church & School
Campaign Purpose
St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church has served the Hickory community for over 120 years – doing the faithful work of Connecting All to Christ. Yet, almost every day, they were faced with facility challenges and difficulties accommodating the needs of their congregation’s individuals and groups. This, in turn, hindered their mission and ministry that they were being called by our Lord to fulfill.
To address these challenges they made plans to construct a new Mission & Ministry Center Building. A space that would include a Church & School Welcome Center and Church & School Office Center. With support from Walsh & Associates, the church & school community rallied behind their Building a Firm Foundation campaign. The funds raised will be used to build the new center to better their church.
