The Lutheran Church of St Andrew

Campaign Purpose
From 2008 through 2014 The Lutheran Church of St. Andrew completed campaigns to relocate, build, and complete a new church home in the service of Christ and their growing ministries. Ten years later it was time to address significant needs for their next leap into the future. Looking toward the celebration of the 75th Anniversary, they embarked on their Building on Blessings capital campaign under the guidance of Walsh & Associates.
Renovation & Maintenance
St. Andrew had much to celebrate and give thanks for after building and finishing out their new church facilities but after ten years of use it was time to build on this heritage and steward these gifts. They had outdated HVAC, AV, lighting, and fire control systems, some of which could include energy-efficiency upgrades. High use and growth meant there was drywall repair & repainting, a cry-room expansion, and classroom improvements needed. Their exterior needed a new roof and signage, security, parking lot, and landscaping repairs, updates, and maintenance.
Debt & Missions
Debt remained on St. Andrew’s 2008 building loan. Church leadership knew this money could be better, and more appropriately, spent on needed programs, services, and ministries to benefit their own members and the broader community. Building on their blessings, the campaign goals included paying a portion of the debt and communicated this greater purpose for these funds.
Campaign Success
The church community responded to the campaign needs by generously exceeding their Challenge Goal! The funds raised will be used for interior and exterior improvements, energy-efficiency upgrades, debt reduction, and expanding their mission funding – the very essence of what is asked of them as stewards of God’s church.

Testimonials
“We would not have come close to our goal without Walsh’s help. Our consultant was great to work with. The staff support was great. The materials were all well done and the process worked. People felt bought in and it helped bring the church together.”

Helping Churches Reach New Heights in their Capital Campaigns
Our mission is to be great stewards, to live up to the Parable of Talents and to bring out the best in those we serve. Our consistent and proven-to-be-successful approach to directing church capital campaigns helps assure this. We just work with churches, only do capital campaigns and ground them in prayer, scripture and sound stewardship teachings. Then we combine this with practical, proven-to-be-most-productive operating methods. This not only assures you of getting the best results and best return on your capital campaign investment financially, but also, that your church will grow spiritually and in community and will be more equipped and excited than ever about doing God’s will through the works of your church.
