Campaign Purpose
Dating to 1721, the mission of United Church in Walpole is to worship, teach, and serve in the traditions of their congregational heritage, according to the teachings of Jesus Christ, for the benefit of all humankind. They reach out and change lives with the good news of God’s love.
United Church in Walpole is called to manifest the living God by ministering to their congregants and community, protecting the environment, rejecting racism, fighting for those who are powerless, sharing earthly and spiritual resources, embracing diversity, and above all, loving God. To effectively serve and support the programs and ministries of the church, and under the guidance of Walsh & Associates, they sought to thoughtfully improve the functionality, security, and safety of their facilities.
Their Foundations for Our Future campaign to improve their church raised over eight times their annual giving! This enthusiastic support was shown for the church’s plans to build an addition for Children’s Ministry, a Church Meeting Center, a new church lobby, a rooftop garden, new restrooms, and much more. They will also be installing new infrastructure, accessibility, wayfinding, and safety and security updates. Many other renovations and maintenance issues will be addressed as well through this successful campaign effort.
