St. George’s Episcopal Surpasses Campaign Goal With Overwhelming Support
At Walsh & Associates, we have the privilege of walking alongside churches as they dream, discern, and build for the future. Recently, we partnered with St. George Episcopal Church in Dayton, Ohio to guide them through a Feasibility & Planning Study and capital campaign, and the results were nothing short of inspiring.
During the Feasibility Study, church members shared their hopes and concerns and revealed a community deeply committed to accessibility, safety, and hospitality. Members overwhelmingly supported addressing urgent needs such as upgrading the elevator and fire control panel, improving the undercroft and kitchen, repairing the rectory, and refreshing restrooms and entrances. At the same time, there was excitement about enhancing gathering spaces for fellowship and worship.
From the same well of generosity, members showed support to rebuild the church’s maintenance/insurance fund and strengthen its endowment for long-term stability. They understood how these financial plans will ensure St. George’s future.
The response to St. George’s Sharing Our Faith, Securing Our Future Capital Campaign was extraordinary. Members gave generously, and the campaign not only met its challenge and ultimate goals but surpassed them — raising more than double their minimum goal and exceeding their ultimate goal!
The outpouring of campaign support is a testament to the strength of St. George Episcopal Church’s vision and the dedication of its people. Because of their faithfulness, the church is now equipped to move forward with projects that will ensure accessibility, enhance safety, expand hospitality, and provide long-term financial stability through a strengthened endowment.
Congratulations to St. George Episcopal Church on this extraordinary achievement!
