St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church
Campaign Purpose
Since the founding of St. Mary Magdalene as a mission church on Palm Sunday, 1998, the Catholic faithful of the surrounding area have made it their spiritual home. As the years have passed, the need for a permanent place to worship and celebrate the Eucharist for their burgeoning community has become evident.
St. Mary Magdalene was a growing parish! That was great news, but that growth presented a set of circumstances that needed to be addressed. Their space used to celebrate Mass, weddings and funerals was too small for large events. When it was constructed, their master plan called for a larger, permanent home to be built to accommodate anticipated growth.
In partnership with Walsh & Associates, the Gate of Mercy, Throne of Grace campaign at St. Mary Magdalene was undertaken to raise the funds to build a new church. The outpouring of support for the plan from the community resulted in raising over seven times their annual offertory!
Testimonials
“I’d like to thank you for a job well done on our capital campaign. Our consultant was here to help kick off the campaign and had a timeline for each portion of the campaign. There was a well-thought out plan for how we were going to approach the people. Our consultant led meetings, trained volunteers to reach out to people, and was a positive influence on the people who worked the campaign and kept them eager to complete the job. We not only reached our goal, but exceeded it. Walsh & Associates did a fine job.”

Helping Churches Reach New Heights in their Capital Campaigns
Our mission is to be great stewards, to live up to the Parable of Talents and to bring out the best in those we serve. Our consistent and proven-to-be-successful approach to directing church capital campaigns helps assure this. We just work with churches, only do capital campaigns and ground them in prayer, scripture and sound stewardship teachings. Then we combine this with practical, proven-to-be-most-productive operating methods. This not only assures you of getting the best results and best return on your capital campaign investment financially, but also, that your church will grow spiritually and in community and will be more equipped and excited than ever about doing God’s will through the works of your church.
