St Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
Campaign Purpose
St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portage, Wisconsin exceeded their goal and raised $3,089,955 for their biggest expansion in a century. Their planned new Multi-Use Gathering Space will include a zero-step central entrance, an expansive indoor gathering area, and a lower level multi-use fellowship hall.
The new Gathering Space addition will enable St. Mary’s worship space to be expanded to adapt to current liturgical practices and create a welcoming, accessible environment. The entire church will receive dramatically improved accessibility as well as heating, lighting, parking lot, and other improvements.
Testimonials
“Walsh kept us, including me as Pastor, on-task and on-schedule. I would recommend Walsh & Associates highly to assist other parishes in their campaign endeavors.”
– Rev. Gary Krahenbuhl, Pastor
“Our campaign director’s knowledge and breadth of experience were excellent. He was very professional and received respect because he gave respect. His enthusiasm and motivational skills were much needed as the campaign went on. The campaign services of Walsh provide a structure to follow and use of an onsite director is critical. Walsh contributed to the success of our campaign.”
– Mark Curran, Advanced Gifts Chair

Helping Churches Reach New Heights in their Capital Campaigns
Our mission is to be great stewards, to live up to the Parable of Talents and to bring out the best in those we serve. Our consistent and proven-to-be-successful approach to directing church capital campaigns helps assure this. We just work with churches, only do capital campaigns and ground them in prayer, scripture and sound stewardship teachings. Then we combine this with practical, proven-to-be-most-productive operating methods. This not only assures you of getting the best results and best return on your capital campaign investment financially, but also, that your church will grow spiritually and in community and will be more equipped and excited than ever about doing God’s will through the works of your church.
