Campaign Purpose
Winnetka Congregational Church (WCC), “A House of Worship for All People,” partnered with Walsh & Associates first for a Feasibility & Planning Study. The input gathered from members through this process helped WCC’s leadership understand their congregation’s priorities and broad support for addressing vital facility and financial needs. The encouraging results laid the foundation for their Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future capital campaign with Walsh, uniting their faith community in faithful stewardship to care for their historic campus and expand their ministries.
Maintenance & Renovation
The campaign funds raised will address critical facility needs across the church’s nearly 90-year-old campus. They will provide essential repairs to the iconic tower, sanctuary windows, HVAC systems, and fellowship spaces. These crucial updates will preserve and improve the church’s home, ensuring a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment for worship, community outreach, and daily congregational life.
Endowment, Future Funding
Looking beyond physical repairs, members embraced the opportunity to invest in long-term ministry reserves. By establishing dedicated funds for capital maintenance, organ care, community outreach, and enriching programs, WCC can now strengthen its financial foundation to support future generations and respond faithfully to new community needs.
Campaign Success
WCC’s response exceeded all expectations! Their congregation raised $6,386,692, surpassing their $5,000,000 Ultimate Goal.
